Reiki I Class

Service Description

Reiki is part of every one of us and was once universal. Reiki is all-knowing, the universal life force energy. It is a light-touch / hands-over holistic modality that aims to restore balance to the body to assist its innate healing ability, increase energy levels and promote relaxation and wellbeing. It can be used for the treatment of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual ailments. It promotes a calmness and connectedness that often cannot be achieved in any other way; it can help to subtly let go of whatever is not serving you, and brings clarity and an alignment back to truth and your authentic self. The process of attunement or initiation is what sets Reiki apart from every other form of laying-on-hands or touch healing. The attunement itself IS the Reiki, and without this process, that must be passed directly from Teacher / Master to Student, the healing system is not Reiki but something else entirely. The attunement does not however give the student anything new, rather it simply opens and aligns what was already a part of them; traditional teachers say that if you receive Reiki in this lifetime, it is because you have had it before in other incarnations. In this way, Reiki is a remembering. In this Reiki I class, you will be taught about Reiki, what it is, the history of Reiki, and the attunement process is explained; we discuss healings, your Reiki Lineage, and importantly we discuss in detail the 5 Reiki Principles. You will learn about the 1st Reiki Symbol and how to draw it. You will undergo your own attunement to Reiki First Degree. You will be provided with a Reiki Self-Healing Guide and taught the hand positions for healing others, and will have time to practice both self-healing and healing others. The session concludes with a discussion on the 21-day cleanse process. Note: my class can be provided 1-on-1 or with up to 4 participants.
