Massage (especially Swedish / Relaxation) targets the uppermost layer of muscles and as such aims to promote relaxation by releasing muscle tension and thereby relieving pain. Combining massage with either Reiki or Reflexology will enable the body to go that bit deeper promoting calmness, connectedness and clarity, enabling the body to better cope and enact its own innate healing ability.
